Plans for urban growth around Wingham? Trying to avoid this in our hunt for a tree change.

Hubby and I are looking to retire out of Sydney in about 2 years and want to avoid the possibility of overdevelopment chasing us when we leave. Are there plans for building new estates around Wingham as we don't want to buy our forever home on a few acres, only to have urban development creeping out of town limits. Thanks! :-)
