Silver Spur is a great neighborhood with excellent access on and off The Hill! The homes are in the entry level price range for Palos Verdes starting just below $1 million. Some of the homes in this area offer spectacular views of the LA Basin.

The Eastview area of Rancho Palos Verdes is on the eastside of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and is primarily to the north of Western Avenue ( with a small portion east of Western ). This area is about 20 to 25% less expensive than other areas of Palos Verdes but is still a very nice place to live. Residents of this area have a choice of enrolling their children in either the Los Angeles or Palos Verdes school districts, so many people are attracted to this area as it affords people an opportunity to send their kids to Palos Verdes schools while still buying a more affordable home.

By least expensive area, do you mean Eastview? That is located off of Western Avenue on the border with San Pedro. It was annexed later than the rest of the Peninsula in 1983 and is home to about 8500 residents. It was primarily annexed because the residents wanted their children to benefit from the excellent Palos Verdes School system. It is interesting to note you can read up on the crime log for the entire Peninsula in the Palos Verdes News. But, if you have a specific concern, you can always call the front desk at the Sheriff's department and ask them about any problems they know of. Generally speaking, Eastview is considered to be a good place to live and is located in Rancho Palos Verdes.
