Head to Long Pond Beach at Sycamore Park, which is between Long Pond and Long Pond Road in Mahopac. It’s part of the 32-acre Carmel Recreation Dept, and it also has a baseball/football field, four tennis courts, a paddleball/handball court, picnic and playground areas, and a concession stand.
