You have roos too!

I just saw the photo of the kangaroos out the back of your area. I'd never heard of such a thing until we moved into Killarney Ridge in Greensborough and now they're a pain in the butt crapping all over the lawn and eating the plants in the garden etc. Someone uploaded some photos of them too...

We really like the kangaroos and feel sad that they are moving on. It has always been a delight to walk out in the morning and see them. I am sorry you are not that happy to see them.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing them and the kids get a thrill but my wife had to give way to 2 of them bouncing down our street just the other day. This is partly due to the fence (owned by VicRoads) that is in disrepair which is supposed to keep them not only off our street but off the Ring Rd (I've seen a few roadkill roos on the side of the road too).

We have seen many dead on the road as well. If only the council could work out a solution to the problem. Where the kangaroos could live and we could see them and no one was hurt. It is my fear that I will hit one at night or early evening. I have seen the damage that can happen in the country from a kangaroo hitting a car.
