"Great suburb for accessibility and activities"

Meadowbrook is a great suburb for young families and working professionals as it has accessibility to major public and private transport. There has been a recent major renovation of the Meadowbrook Golf Club including a brand new mini golf course making this an awesome spot for young families and anyone wanting to get out and about in the community.

"Don't be fooled."

Why anyone would voluntarily live here is beyond me. The positive comments here are people trying to get a better return on rentals.
I moved to the area after living interstate and was not prepared for the local population of Bogans and delinquent youths. Loud parties, constant late night 'deliveries', break and enters, domestic violence is rampant and the youth in the area behave in a disgusting manner. Before living in the area I recommend you visit the local woolworths to see zoo.

I have been living there since 2018 and found nothing as you explained. It's too judgemental I guess within a short time without knowing much.

"The best town to live in!"

Everything is so close! The terrain is flat which makes riding to the supermarket like the Danes do, easy. I can walk to the train station and Logan Hospital & not have to worry about car parking. I live at the end of Meadowbrook Dr & it is so peaceful and quiet. Meadowbrook is very family orientated and it is perfect for the elderly, medical professinals and business owners. Meadowbrook & Logan hospital are currently being revamped - https://mycitylogan.com.au/new-meadowbrook-private

"A well connected family oriented suburb"

I have been living in Meadowbrook for 4 years now. I love it for its easy connection to the city and Gold Coast by public transport and car. All the amenities and restaurants I could need and want are in close proximity. Most of all I love the parks and green spaces. My street and suburb has a great community feel. I have gotten to know many of my neighbours and people at the dog park

"A small suburb with a lot to offer in term quality of life."

Meadowbrook is a small but lovely peaceful suburb that has many to offer such TAFE and Griffith Uni for higher education, Logan Hospital and other medical centres for health and wellbeing, Express Train line and buses, Shopping Centres, Meadowbrook Hotel and 24-Hour restaurants, Golf Club, Parks, Child Care Centres, Aged Care, and so on. So close to everything, but not over populated. Lovely community is another main reason for me to choose Meadowbrook. However, there is no night club here, it is more suitable for raising family and retirement. Nothing is perfect but Meadowbrook deserves a 5 star rating from me.

"Perfect place to raise a family"

We have lived here for 3 years now after my aunt & uncle were here for 17 years without issue. It is only 25 minutes to the city & 30 to the Gold Coast. With the hospital nearby & major works happening to make the suburb a major health hub everything is or will be in easy reach. Hyperdome only 5 minutes away for all your majors & entertainment.

"One of the fine suburbs of logan"

When I was first moving here, I was not quite sure about this location. But when we moved here we found it much better than any other previous places we lived in. Meadowbrook is the education, health and center of commute hub. With best access to both north south and east west motorways, meadowbrook has easy routes to wherever you wanna go. Things like golfcourse, hospital, TAFE, express trains, access to best schools, furniture shops, car showrooms, universities, parklands and u name it it has that. A biodiverse environment with flora and fauna with natural environment inhabiting beatiful birds and cuckatoo in your yard. Not to mention that Meadowbrook upgrade plan for green city connecting all roads accross motorways and cycle friendly streets are gonna make it the most liveable suburb in logan. Families find it comfortable for their kids to play outside. A blend of old and new houses. We love it.

"Meadow brook Logan Bogans"

Don’t be deceived by the nice look of this suburb it is named as meadow brook but it’s actually loganlea the hospital in meadow brook is listed as loganlea. There are plenty of break ins, snakes in summer, the lake smells of sewer and used as a dumping ground, there is mosquitoes and midges, wandering cats everywhere that scratch neighbours cats, bats shit on your cars, plenty of Logan bogan drug users and criminals nearby as the Logan hospital is right there. It is a part of Logan city which is listed as the worst crime rates.

You mispelt the suburb, d'oh?! There's snakes, mosquitos, wandering cats, drug users & criminals everywhere in Australia and planet Earth. I've never had a bat "shit" on my car in the 5 years I've lived in Meadowbrook. Logan Hospital is not listed as Loganlea & it's not located in Loganlea. Inner Brisbane, Inala, Surfers Paradise, Ipswich & Logan Central currently has the highest crime rates in QLD, not Meadowbrook. As for the lakes which belong to Griffith University, its not a lake to swim in, you're not in Austria!!

"Charming and Safe with Express Train to Brisbane"

Big shopping centre being built next to McDonald's commencing mid-2013. This will have a Woolworths. This is a suburb where you can hear the birds in the morning and walk the dog around to the various parks but be a short jaunt away to Brisbane CBD or other metropolitan areas. Neighbours are friendly and suburb is safe. Close to the beach (Gold Coast) and the mountains and rainforest (Mt Tambourine). Great day trip options. Small shopping centre already exists with IGA, gym, Pizza Capers and Subway. New Pacific motorway exit makes getting to Meadowbrook even easier. Minimal motorway noise. Close to Logan motorway as well. Great central location. Logan Hyperdome is 5 minutes by car and has more shopping. If you like Ikea, also a short trip away. Loganlea train station has express train to Brisbane for commuters. High number of residents own homes (including doctors, nurses, teachers from nearby hospital and TAFE). This is a suburb people are starting to discover with great infrastructure. Expect this suburb to do well in the future as Logan and Brisbane grow.

Great for

  • Shopping (New Centre to be Constructed mid-2013)
  • Parks
  • Peace & Quiet, Safety
  • Education
  • Public Transport

Lived here for few years now, I must say great for modern home living close to major roads motorways highways never be late for work again, public transport is excellent with loganlea train station and bus routes all within a stones throw, great for students with Griffith University, and Metro South Tafe, home of the Logan Hospital, It is very safe here with huge parks at riverdale park and is destined to boom in meadowbrook with major retailer whoolies set to build a new shopping complex in the near future with already existent IGA complex accross the road and 5 min drive to major hyperdome.

Great for

  • Education
  • Public Transport
  • Safety family Freindly, Parks

Im not sure why people are saying its safe when its not. Its situated right near the Logan hospital which is always frequented by drug users and bogans. Its actually truthfully loganlea, no area in Logan is safe as Logan had the highest rate of crime. My mother has lived in meadow brook for the past 14 years theres been many break ins, the dirty lake down her street is full of junk in the water and theres a bad case of mosquitos and midges

"Good safe place to raise a family"

Nice, quiet and leafy suburb on a bend of the Logan river. Good parks and recreation opportunities, no major shopping centre in the suburb but it isn't far to get to one. Large student population on northern side of motorway, the southern side is the better prospect for buyers.

The northern side is mostly rentals and homes are smaller, on tiny blocks and not much parking or street space. This was developed in the early 2000's. The southern side was built mostly in the late 1980s and early 1990s and has a much calmer, peaceful feel to it. Motorway noise is minimal.
