Mindarie or Quinns

My son has been accepted into Peter Moyes. Should we live in Mindarie or Quinns Rocks? Where is the boundary line between ''old Quinns"and "new Quinns"that I keep reading about? Which area is better to live in? Are these suburbs safe and family friendly?
