"Quiet, Great community, Pretty outlook, Safe"

We moved to Montrose 13 years ago and never want to leave. It's at the foothills of Mt Dandenong so has a beautiful tree'd mountain outlook and a safe, quiet "Country Town" feel. It's a great community, not "Suburban" and is only 10 minutes to the Mountain Forests one way or the big shops in the suburbs the other way. Best of all worlds!

"Great place to invest"

Montrose is soon becoming a popular suburb where both sales and rental prices are increasing as the popularity of the neighbouring suburbs increases. With the newly developed Eastland and suburb developments in Ringwood and surrounding areas, it is becoming more and more desirable to live in Montrose although you can still pick up a bargain! It is a great family suburb with tree lined streets and parks and walking tracks available.

The average rental income for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property is between $360 - $420 per week.

"The best of both worlds"

A real rural feel in the community but 10 minutes from the rat race.
Very safe and friendly, great for raising a family, great local primary schools and shopping not far.
I've lived in Boxhill nth, donvale, Rowville, Ringwood east and Ferntree Gully, Montrose is the best without a doubt, minimal crime and so quiet, only hear the birds!
Perfection! Love you Montrose!

Rentals in Montrose

"Perfect family enviroonment"

Montrose is a wonderful community environment, we call it a community rather than a suburb because it has a trruly friendly atmosphere where you can still walk down to the local shops and always bump into a friend.

The schools in the area are great, theres plenty of buses running and the residents priode in the area is very high. We've been living in the area for a short time now but are planning to never move again.
It has the special location that you still have some trees around you so you dont feel cramped into suburbia but are still minutes away from all your standard luxuries. Its perfect for our young family and we want to thank Sue, Steve and Lucinda from Max Brown for helping us purchase and make us feel truly welcome in the area. Thanks guys

"nice and quiet and leafy"

new community parka nd great walks, tracks, sports facilities etc. the shops have a few useful things, small local supermarket. easy drive to major shops in Bayswater and Kilsyth. Great restaurants up the hill in Mt. Dandenong and Olinda. One of the best primary schools in the region and buses to the station.
