Does New Rochelle have a used bookstore?

You can find used books at Abbey books, an old-fashioned used bookstore with narrow corridors chock full of books of all varieties. It's a very cozy atmosphere. Great place to find a rare treasure! Located on Rt. 43 in New Rochelle.

I have not found a used book store per se, but the New Rochelle library offers some nice options for those looking for used books. The Friends of the Library hold a monthly Used Book Sales on a Friday and Saturday every month from September to June, and on a Friday in July. "The sales include a wide assortment of used adult and children’s books, CDs, DVDs, video and audio cassettes, paperbacks, cookbooks and gift books." This sale is very popular and a big fundraiser for the library.

There is also the Friends Book Store which is housed in the first floor and is open Tuesdays from 1 to 3:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You can find books in a whole range of topics from the Friends’ warehouse collection of 35,000 to 50,000 books, are sold here at reduced prices.
