New Rochelle is home to the Shakespeare festival with Shakespearian plays and more modern day riffs on those plays at various local venues. The Iona Players, a student-directed group at Iona College in New Rochelle often runs off broadway shows. The Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck occasionally has off-broadway plays and notable one-man/woman shows. The White Plains Performing Arts Center produces on and off Broadway musicals. The Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford is a year-round dinner theatre with a great selection of Broadway shows, as well, with dinner included!
