Unemployment is a tricky thing.. hopefully changing for the better each and every day.. I would rather offer a link to those stats as follows http://www.city-data.com/housing/houses-New-Rochelle-New-York.html New Rochelle is a city, and the mayor is continually striving to improve our Queen of the Sound. It is a great place in which to live.

The unemployment rate has dropped significantly from 2010 (9.9% to 9.5% in 2012). New Rochelle is still an industrially thriving town. It has sustained its reputation since the 1930's when the country was in the Great Depression, and is still doing so today. One can only hope that it will continue this routine as our history has shown.
