Need inputs for 1st home buying

I and my wife want to buy our first home in sydney but the prices are so expensive in good areas. I want to know if there are decent enough suburbs in sydney where I can get a house for under $450000 which are safe and have decent schools and lifestyle..

Hi Raj123
Mount Druitt is a sound investment for your first home with money still left over for a holiday and maybe put in an inground pool, and still more left over,
Please read my review of the area.
There is plenty to do and see in the area and real estate in the area continues to rise as families like yours discover what we have to offer.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

hi quakers hill is a nice safe area, and some of the areas around there seem pretty good, stay away from mount druitt as it is not safe. our house there was robbed a number of times

Try looking south also. Really nice areas not to far from the city with resonable prices. Do plenty of research. I see someone above has mentioned Mount Druitt!, as I said do plenty of research. You can take a look at places like Revesby, Panania, East Hills. All with on a direct train line into the city. Also a little further Holsworthy and Wattle Grove are great places for familys and well priced in the Sydney Market. Local schools in these area's are also very well ranked.
