That's right, the NYC-based satirical soap Gossip Girl is returning from its winter hiatus on March 8, Monday. Anyone else watching?

It's a no over here, too. Never actually seen an episode, and as much as it saddens to me to say so, I think I've outgrown the nighttime soaps.

I am not ashamed to admit out loud that I am a Gossip Girl fan. I am super excited to watch the return. It's just good trashy, NY fun. I heart Chuck Bass.

I love shows like that, but at the moment am getting most of my television via the internet, and just never got into Gossip Girl. Maybe someday in the near future, but I would have a lot of catching up to do.

Finally, @Jenmac! Blair Waldorf is my idol - "ninety pounds of Chanel-wearing, bon-mot-tossing girly evil."

@BroadwayBk are you watching the shows on ABC.com or some other live streaming site like Hulu.com? The reason I ask is that I want to be able to watch them online when I am overseas. I know many of the shows can be bought from the itunes store but can they be viewed on a windows machine? any ideas?

@uptowngirl It seems like just about any television show can be viewed on either hulu or its network website! I think there are exceptions - like a lot of cable television shows aren't online. But you should be able to watch Real Housewives just fine no matter where you are?

@Neversleeps Hulu.com doesnt allow overseas viewers to tune in.. as do online channels of ABC etc.. there are services like graboid.com etc but have no idea how well they work .. itunes sells episodes for a reasonable $1.99 so was wondering if I should just pay for the episode and download it but will it work on a Windows machine?

@uptowngirl dare I suggest checking out thepiratebay.com ? It certainly works worldwide.

thepiratebay.org actually. I have a friend who downloads all the new episodes of Lost from there, before they've even come on television.... I personally never looked into it, but I definitely wouldn't download any executable files from that site!

@NeverSleeps Ah, yes it is dot org! But I am not promoting the theft of downloads. Nope.

@BroadwayBK Torrents usually have spyware and malware attached to them so I dont think I will risk it .. just pay the itunes store as for the other shows I do have a spyware free link through Facebook! it works well overseas...

surfthechannel.com is a good one for streaming video, although there's a fair bit of ads, there doesn't seem to be spyware/etc. The new season of Gossip Girl is really good so far! I didn't like the NYU-centric episodes, but I enjoy the ones that return the show to its UES roots

I think I would rather stream video than download it - so much less time consuming, and so much healthier for your computer.
