“It’s a huge mix of partners which gives us greater leverage to rollout the Homely.com.au platform and to realise our dream of providing a truly affordable digital real estate marketplace which we believe this industry desperately needs” said Co-Founder of Homely, Jason Spencer. “We have many of the top 100 ranked agents across Australia participating in the Homely program, leading property developers, auctioneers and even industry icons like Barry Plant and Philip Webb”.

Homely is committed to partnering with the industry and believes that increased competition amongst the portals is vital to bringing long term benefits to property vendors. Jason Spencer said, “We believe digital real estate advertising should be more affordable, it should not cost a vendor a huge amount to advertise a home online. This just puts pressure on agents fees”.

Co-Founder Adam Spencer believes the Homely digital real estate platform can provide an alternative to the other real estate portals such as realestate.com.au and Domain, and stated: “We have built a world-class online real estate marketplace and have been internationally recognised multiple times by the prestigious Webby Awards”.

Homely also pioneered its community-related content on Australian real estate portals which has provided a point of difference and a way for real estate agents and property managers to connect with locals in between the buying and selling cycle.

“We’ve built an increasing audience, now numbering in the millions, who are now aware of the Homely brand, and we have a heavy focus on unique original content such as suburb reviews, agent reviews and community discussions. This is just the beginning for us, we have a lot more in the works coming out later in the year…watch this space”.

Homely is launching the Agent Participation Program at a time when demand for alternative real estate marketing options is increasing in part due to the coronavirus pandemic and its economic effects.

“We are excited about taking the Agent Participation Program to all parts of Australia, and to further increase our engagement with the real estate industry. Our doors are wide open to those who want to support change in the digital real estate portal space.”
