1. Check out the Cable Car Museum—everyone should visit this place once and check out all the turning gears—pretty amazing.
2. Check out one of the great Nob Hill restaurants such as Keiko’s, Harris’ Steakhouse, or Acquerello’s (an Italian).
3. Check out the four classic SF Hotels: the Huntington, the Fairmont, the Intercontinental and the Stanford Court. (3 of the four are named after the Big Four tycoons that helped build SF, I think.)
4. Go to Grace Cathedral, one of the most historic spots in the city.
5. Check out some of the dives that have snuck over from the Tenderloin, like Cresta’s, the Cinch or the Buccaneer.
6. Go dancing at Bourbon and Branch.
7. Go play some tennis at Lafayette Park.
8. Jump on the San Francisco bike trail on Pacific.
9. Head down to Union Square for some shopping and fun.
