In Nob Hill you are right at the heart of things. You are within easy walking distance of the dangers of the Tenderloin, the high rolling Financial District, the authentic restaurants of Chinatown, and the fun of North Beach. This is mostly apartment living here, and in many ways if feels more like New York than California. There are crime worries and it is a bit overcrowded but it could be a good spot if you like living in a classic old spot in the city.
