The situation with Coronavirus in the Northern Territory really is changing on a daily basis and its very hard to give you a definitive answer.
Alice Springs has only been placed into lockdown once this year (2021), and we were lucky to get away with enduring just seventy-two hours. However, Katherine and several remote communities have endured multiple lockdowns and lockout periods.
So my advice is simple, plan to quarantine.
And apply to quarantine at "home" which means a place deemed suitable; check out the coronavirus.nt.gov.au website for more details about the accepted definition of "quarantine at home."
If you're prepared and you find you don't need too, that's a great bonus, however, when you're not prepared and you have to do it, it can really sap your energy.
