I believe Oakleigh is a safe place to live, There are plenty of families that live and love Oakleigh. Having a major police station on the corner of Warrigal and Atherton Roads that covers the majority of the south east, ensures that safety is a high priority. With any suburbs within Melbourne, there is always going to be a element of crime.
