Perth suburb suggestions

Hello, my husband and I are moving to Perth in a month and need advice about which suburbs to live? I am 33 and he is 35 and looking to start a family soon. We both like good cafes, restaurants but we cant decide to whether to live North Perth/Leederville area or closer to the beach like Cottesloe/Swanbourne area? My husband will be working in the CBD. Any advice appreciated!

For a young couple eyeing a family and a vibrant lifestyle, Perth offers diverse options. The North Perth/Leederville area boasts trendy cafes, restaurants, and a lively scene, ideal for your tastes.

However, living closer to the beach in areas like Cottesloe/Swanbourne offers a serene coastal vibe with beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. Considering your husband's CBD job, suburbs near North Perth might offer more convenience for commuting. Yet, areas like Cottesloe/Swanbourne provide a more laid-back beachside living experience. Regarding property management in Atwell, it's worth exploring Atwell's family-friendly neighborhoods, offering a balance between suburban tranquility and easy access to amenities.

Ultimately, weigh your priorities for a perfect mix of lifestyle and practicality in your new home.

Maybe check out Thornlie area. Close to carousel and Vic Park where have lots of restaurants and good cafes. It has their own train station-Thornlie train, straight to Perth CBD. House prices are very reasonable with big block. Good for first home buyers
