Are there any good breweries near Philadelphia?

There are a few breweries in and around the Philadelphia area. One of the most popular and well known is the Philadelphia Brewing Company in Kensington. Yards Brewing Company and Nodding Head Brewery & Restaurant are actually my two favorites. Some of the city's breweries are also restaurants as the Nodding Head suggests. You can get a good brew and also a good meal. Each is well worth the visit.
I would definitely recommend going to Philly Brew Co on Saturdays. You get a card with all of their beers and you can have one of each for free. The space is also really cool (big open floor plan) and you can take a free tour as you're sipping your beers. Don't be scared off by the semi-scary neighborhood! Philly Brew Co is right on the border of Kensington.
Within Philadelphia, you can head to the Yards Brewing Company (over near Fishtown) or the Philadelphia Brewing Company (in Kensington). There are other microbrews and brewery locations in the city like Triumph and Nodding Head, but both are more like restaurants and not actual breweries that you can tour.
Outside of Philadelphia there are a few other breweries. There is Sly Fox in Phoenixville, Flying Fish in Cherry Hill, and Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown (though I recently read that they are no longer doing tours).
