What are the best neighborhoods in philadelphia for single women 40 ?

I'm considering relocating to the area for work within the next few months (spring/summer '17). While I've traveled to the area on business in the past, I'm not sure what would be the best areas in which to live. I have been living in a college town/bedroom community in a suburb west of Boston and love that I can walk to shops, restaurants, train into the city, and anything else I would need is no more than a 20 minute drive away. Any thoughts?

Center City is the best for walkability, activities, meeting people, and general city living. Center City is anywhere west of the Delaware and east of the Schuylkill Rivers, north of South Street and South of Vine Street.
