Where is the best place to take a tourist or visitor for the day?

Any tourist to Philadelphia should definitely see Independence Mall and walk around the cobblestone streets of Old City (visit Elfreth Alley). Then, head to Pat's or Geno's for a cheesesteak, as the dining options right around Independence Mall aren't that great. In the afternoon, visit the Mutter Museum, Please Touch Museum (if you have kids along for the trip) or the Philadelphia Art Museum. Make sure to get a picture with the Rocky Statue, and then head to dinner in Fairmount.
The city of Philadelphia has too many places to take a visitor/tourist. Starting with Independence Mall and the building that were influential in the beginnings of the country. Going towards the numerous libraries and museums that exhibit all types of artistic and scientific discoveries. You can also take a trip to one of the park that are included within the Fairmount Park system, one of the world's largest inner-city parks. The best way to figure out where to go is to close your eyes and point to a spot on the map, and make a day of it. Otherwise you'll never get to see anything trying to choose "the best place" to go.
