Reviews of Reid, ACT
"History Preserved"
Reid is adjoining Canberra City and is considered to be 1km to its south east. It is one of the oldest suburbs in Canberra being part of its original development in 1928. A large proportion of Reid is part of a protected historical precinct. It is the place where you will find the oldest church in Canberra, St John the Baptist and the Canberra Institute of Technology. It is a great place for students. There are a few houses in Reid. However, most of the accommodation is apartment based. It is a great place to live if you love the pace and convenience of city life.
