In addition, there's the Palatine Farmstead, which was built back in the 1770s, and there's Wilderstein, which is a beautiful house with a great architectural design. It's been around for over 100 years and has been kept up very well.

Rhinebeck has a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes the Beekman Inn, which opened in 1766, making it the oldest in the country. FDR launched his gubernatorial and presidential campaigns from there. It also includes the Harry Delamater House, a Gothic Revival house from the 1800s.
