"Great Place to Start"
Richardson is located around 16 kms south of Canberra. It has a local primary school which was the first to see the importance of IT in education and implement new teaching methods to incorporate this change with the installation of interactive whiteboards. It also has a local kindergarten. Markets are held at the local Tuggeranong Homestead which is a heritage site in the area. There is also a local oval which is used for varied sporting activities as well as by the local scouting group. It has shops close by but nothing local to the suburb.
