What is the best state high school closest to Robina, Mermaid Waters or Surrento ?

We are planning to move up to Gold Coast and found either Robina , Surrento and or Mermaid Waters are very nice. However, as a first stage I would like to know more about the area such as schools , public transport and job opportunities and potential to run a small eatery business if possible nearby. Any ideas would be greatly appreciate.
