Rose Bay is a good place to retire in that over a quarter of the area are over retirement age and nearly half of all in the area own their own home. A further third are working towards home ownership making the area quite stable. Being only 4 kms from the city it allows access to all of those amenities and if you don't drive it is a simple 20 minute bus ride. Buses leave around every 20-30 minutes during peak times and hourly outside of that.
