"Charming character suburb"

The houses in this suburb reminds me of Brisbane suburbs like Paddington, Redhill, Petrie Terrace. It has the same colonial Queenslanders but with out the busyness of Brisbane traffic and noise. More people are moving into this suburb and surrounding to renovating beautiful old Queenslanders. No doubt suburbs like Sadliers Crossing in Ipswich are going to be sort after suburbs in the future. Definitely a good place to invest, live. Safe and close to all amenities.

Rentals in Sadliers Crossing

"hell on earth"

very noisy unsafe, clubs open very late into the small hours where yobs pass by your house lob broken glass into your driveway. and shout causing public disturbances on a regular basis. Yobbos and delinquents hang around the deli, library, pubs and in particular the Parole and probation office located in Brisbane Street.

But Brisbane Street is not in Sadliers Crossing. Shouldn't this really be a review for West Ipswich, or Ipswich central?

I agree with Kurtsy

I strongly disagree with this. Sadliers Crossing is very quiet with no nightclubs or late businesses nearby. It's a very old area with nice quiet streets. Northern obviously doesn't know his areas. The area he described is definitely the CBD, and not all the time. With the advent of Police cameras everywhere even these problems have toned done a lot.

"Fantastic place to live"

A neighbourly place, quiet, pretty, peaceful and friendly. It's one of those suburbs where you get to know your neighbours, feel safe and convenient for everything. Fantastic for families with kids, close to shopping & schools.

I highly recommend it as a place to live!

"Suitable for all ages, opening to a gold mine turning young families into glowing investors"

My family has had a property in this area for the last 20 years. In recent times has become very popular for families taking a solid base from down sizing retirees and renovating them into beautiful homes.

Take a short drive and you are at Riverlink the regions major shopping centre or if you are on foot there numerous restaurants that all cater for take away, dine-in and after stroll across to a multi screen cinema.

There are a lot of schools within the immediate area (St Mary's, St Edmunds). There is still traffic around school pick-up and drop-off times but it is quiet safe to let young children walk themselves home. On weekends, it is very quiet traffic wise so parking is never a problem and there is a regular bus and train service so you may not need to keep a second car.
