People hurting in San Francisco because of the housing crisis

How are people going with the whole housing crisis debarkle? Someone posted a vid here about living in tiny houses, and I started to think that who has it so bad that they have to live in such a small place.
How has the housing crisis hurt you?

Hey lionosh, check out this link and let me know what you think!!!

In my humble opinion - In today's economy everyone needs to do what they can AFFORD. Everybody doesn’t have the means to live in a mansion.
I think this beats living on the streets as a homeless person. I think it's cool to discover how others deal with daily living situations wherever it may be.

I'm not really hurting at the moment, quite the contrary. But I asked a question just now on this forum about what to do with my money because there is so much uncertainty out there. I've never been a financial guru, but I've just been prudent in my savings and now that I have some cash I'm wondering should I invest in a house or perhaps stock? So much I don't know!!! I should read more hehe

I also watched the video about the small houses, that was great although I know i couldn't live in a house that small.

thats an interesting point you raised about the living in what you can afford. I wonder if homeless people are feeling the pinch even further as people would be less likely to be generous?

Did you see the post entitled “Surviving the Housing Crisis - TEENY TINY HOUSES!!”? ~ http://blog.streetadvisor.com/streetadvisor/2008/09/surviving-the-h.html
I posted the other link to show more options other than the “100 sq. ft”. home featured in that video...
