Wow, great question...so out of my frame of reference right now. I'm curious to know as well! Anyone else have thoughts? Particularly on ones that are priced right?
@StephSF - I just updated my post with the pricing. Good point!
$25 mani/pedi in a spa chair?? I used to pay $30-$35 just for a pedi at my place in Connecticut. Nice! Thanks @Tracypie...
@StephSF - oh yeah and if you go to Polk Street, there are a few that offer similar pricing for spa chair because there are about 5 nail salons on Polk and they are all competing with one another. I am sure there are others.
Killer! Do any of these offer threading? I saw your post on another thread...
A little outside of my wheel house here, but I understand from my younger male metro sexual friends that a good place for guys to get pedicures (I guess this growing in popularity, I have a friend in his late twenties that even gets his toe nails painted with stars and such) is The Nail Bar in Potrero Hill. Friendly staff, and a good non-judgemental environment for guys, though most of the clients are, of course, women.
I don't know the prices.
Hmm...male pedicures. I guess SF would be a good place for that. To be honest, mani/pedis are just as nice and relaxing as a massage and other more "manly" spa treatments. Definitely no judgment here.
I'm more of a doing it yourself sort of gal, but my friend in the city goes to Lush Life in Pacific Heights. I don't know if its any good but I like the name.
As to males getting their nails done--kinda creeps me out.
But I'll get over it.
