Loving the rain

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm loving this late spring rain we're having. I'm a third-generation Seattlite, complete with webbed toes and rainwater running through my veins, so having one or (at most) two sunny days a week is just perfect for me, and having rain on the rest is a great bonus!

Anyone else out there share my love of the rain?

I've only been up your way once, but I could totally go for more rain like you guys get. Currently we're getting some of that down here and I love it. I just like the way the world looks after a good rain. Brings all the darker shades out.

I do love the sunshine but if there is too much in the Spring I have a tendency to become a little disoriented. I believe if you have always lived in Seattle and are not a transplant, the rain is something you just accept and never question. If you are a Seattle transplant and have lived somewhere else that is sunny, then of course you may argue with Mother Nature. I have enjoyed the mix of rain and sun today, and am welcoming the rain that shows up on my 7 day iPhone forecast for the next 7 days in a row!

I am currently in the desert, with high hopes to someday move to the Northwest - and I second the love for rain! Can't wait to have some humidity in my future!
