Why Seven Hills can become a premier suburb in coming years?

Hi, I am a local resident here in Seven Hills. I wonder when we talk about finance, economy and local polictics we always wonder if my house become of more valuable than other nearest suburbs and I can enjoy same pride as resident in St.Ives or other premier suburbs are enjoing. Then I can raise my financial portfolio and looks on the paper, it looks good in the society as well, offcourse oohh that you live in St Ives.. great ! We know all about this anyways. So why can't we raise our local profile?

I thought young dynamic people who are well educated (local/overseas), have family, love the environment and are self made can commit to the area that they live in and be 200% feel proud and thus raise public profile. Be active in Council/ push local MP and can shape the future of where we live and where our kids are going to live.

Because when I look at suburbs which are not connected to the transport (will become significant factor), have very average educational background community (very less people are educated), build on landfill (building material/ wastes etc.) are far expensive than what our suburb is popular tooo. WHY?

It makes me think where people mentality is going? What does people want? Seven Hills has around 70 to 80 % houses are older than 40 years, time will come and they will all be refurbished/newly built, so then area will become expensive? Will it become premium suburb just because it is expensive? OR do we want celebrity here who can buy a house and live here?
What really makes a good premium suburb? I wish local, real estate experts, journalist and valuers could pop in and comment.

I wish local, real estate experts, journalist and valuers could pop in and comment, comparing Seven Hills with suburbs in rim of 10KM. I bet Seven Hills would come near to best.

i have considered seven hills
but when we drove over what seemed the boundary from Kings Langley to Seven Hills...we really noticed a change

i dont really care if i live in a weatherboard or a macmansion in kellyville...truly apart from the paintwork and maybe the heating and cooling id not see a difference
if the house was well designed and had a decent yard id be happy in either

however what i do care about is my neighbourhood
and in saying that i dont care if theyre not educated or if they have lost their teeth to coca cola fed to them by their mums
really i dont

but i do care about the safety of me and my kids
i want them and myself to be able to walk the streets
live peacefully with neighbours who respect simple rules of good citizenship
and not have loose dogs roaming and terrorizing the neighbourhood
i want to be able to sleep without bars on my windows and not have the worry of gangs roving with cans or worse

im not saying that all parts of seven hills are like that...
but theres a real difference between it and KL
a shame
cos it is highly affordable
