I need to know more about South Arm for a book!
South Arm, TAS 7022 is located within the Clarence local government area, part of the Greater Hobart Region in Tasmania.
Hi people! My name is Izandra, and I'm from Brazil, South America.
I'm currently writing a book whose story is set in Australia. I chose the country because of its natural beauty, as the main story takes place in a beach, and there will be visits to coral reefs in the sea. But I did not choose the city, just googled part of the history of Australia to know better. I am currently trying to choose a city, but I'm having trouble. I looked at Google Earth and the city of South Arm (7022) seems perfect, but I need more information about it, and I'm not finding. How many people live there? There are schools, supermarkets, restaurants ...? Residents have good access to new technologies such as iPods, netbooks and things like that?
I would like to keep contact with a local resident, who could me make clear more questions.

Hi, South Arm has lots of large bush properties. Tasmania does not have the climate to support coral reefs. South arm is too far out of the city for good access to technology. I would suggest choosing a town or city in Queensland or the Northern Territory as the towns and cities there are much larger, have better access to technology, have coral reefs (they are tropical locations).
