Reviews of Hall, ACT
"Country Life in Reach of the City"
Hall is located around 14 kms north north west of Canberra. Although officially a village it is considered by most to be an outer suburb of Canberra. It has a General Store which meets the daily needs of the community. The closest major shopping centre is around 15 minutes away. The Hall Pavillion is a community hall available for hire located in the Hall showgrounds. This was the location of the Canberra Show for many years. It now hosts a farmers and craft market once a month. Riding pursuits are a large part of life in the area with both polocrosse grounds and an equestrian park. There are also other playing grounds in the area for other sporting activities. The area is steeped in history which is valued and well preserved. It has the only rurally focussed Rotary Club which assists in the growth of agribusiness in the area. It is a great place to raise a family.
