Kersbrook, SA 5231

After living here for a decade I can tell that Kersbrook is a beautiful peaceful place to live as a farmer or a growing family great rain fall and some beautiful properties are situated in around the Centre of the township.

Up in the hills this is a lovely little town. There are some good shops and a nice pub to get a good meal. It’s a reasonable distance back down to Adelaide, although you probably could do it in under an hour making it a reasonable commute length if you worked in the city.

For me its an area for a tree change. There is a good coverage of old buildings making it s lovely quaint little town. It has a great vibe. I visit here frequently as my parents in law are just around the corner in Humbug Scrub and have talked to friends of mine about the benefits of living here. A great place for the tree-changers that don’t want to be too far away.

With schools in town, some good shops and TTP not too far, a pretty nice blend.

An idyllic location although being in the hills it’s a little up and down. There are some great spots at Chain of Ponds including wonderful wineries with great restaurants. Some of the best food and wine you can get anywhere in Adelaide at reasonable prices. I have had some of the best Gnocchi I have had anywhere was in Chain of Ponds.

You're not likely to find you standard sized block out here, its more about land, and it’s going to be a reasonable spot for growing grapes.

There is no transport out here so you'll need to drive. The roads are of good quality but the trip back to Adelaide has a lot of bends and corners so it’s not fast.
