Reviews of Longwood, SA
"Best of both worlds - country living not too far from the city"
Most Longwood residences are on small acreages, and the surrounds are a mixture of open paddocks and native bush land. Expect plenty of koalas, native birds & kangaroos. There is a great community feel, and the suburb is peaceful and quiet. Longwood has 2 cellar doors but no other shops, but it’s only a few minutes drive to cafes, pubs, supermarkets etc in Stirling, Aldgate & Mylor. Lots of good schools in the local area. Bushfires pose a potential threat over the warmer months (as in all of the Adelaide Hills). There is no public transport and no mains water supply.
