Reviews of Port Moorowie, SA
"A small holiday settlement with a big heart"
Hardwicke Bay is the friendliest place I have ever lived. During my first visit to inspect available real estate the people were all so friendly I thought I was on the "Truman Show". Not only are the townsfolk friendly they display a great sense of pride in Hardwicke Bay and its overall progress. This pride becomes infectious.
Facilities within the township are limited ( Community Centre, Takeaway, Bait and Fuel .Oh and the mechanic shop); that being said the townships of Warooka and Point Turton are only minutes away. So simply put you are far enough away to feel like you have escaped all the stress of the city but not too far away from the facilities required for everyday living.
The sheltered waters of the Bay are excellent for swimming, boating and fishing. Ahh feel the serenity. Visit for a couple of days; you'll be glad you did.
