I somewhat liked my time in RS but there are some sketchy areas. There is some spillover of demographics from neighbouring Woodridge. Also the M1 for commuters is more of a parking lot during peak hours and there aren’t many alternative roads.

Rochedale South is a hidden
gem, so close to hectares of bushwalking and mountain bike tracks. Also high and dry away from the Brisbane River. With the new busway and park n ride being built, it will be an even quicker commute to the city. The neighbourhood is lovely, with most of my neighbours having lived here for 30+ years. As well as gorgeous view of the scenic rim, that you pay squillions for in nearby areas. With some of the best schools in the state in the suburb.

We love living here! Close to Garden city. Easy commute to the city. Next to the booming Rochedale area, yet still affordable. Lots of public and private development plans happening soon.

Best suburb to live in!!!

Perfect place to raise a family, generally nice big block of lands (still some 900sqm lands), great investment as Eight Mile Plains is 5 min away and house prices there are +$100,000 more. Beautiful, modern playgrounds and parks, lot's of green (mainly south side/Springwood side of Underwood Rd). Close to Springwood, Sunnybank, Garden City, quick access to City (off peak traffic 15-20min) via M1.

This is an amazing community, nestled in amongst plenty of farmland, backing on to koala reserves, with some of the best schools in Brisbane within easy reach, and less than 20 kms to the city! If you like shopping, Garden City, Loganholme, Sunnybank and Carindale are all just up the road.

Would definitely recommend Rochedale South, Its a great place to raise kids, good neighbours. Wouldn't live anywhere else in Brisbane :)

I have lived in and around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and nothing compares to the nice appeal of Rochedale South. It was a hidden secret until I found out about it from a freind who moved in to the area. I am happy to be in Rochedale South myself now, and have no immediate plans to move.
