Public transport doesn't go all the way out to Symonston it terminates at Narrabundah which is 2 kms which takes about 20-30 minutes to walk. The bus service starts at 6am and finishes around 10pm and runs every 5-15 minutes From Monday to Friday. On Saturdays it runs every 20-40 minutes between the hours of 8am to 10pm. On Sundays it runs every 20-40 minutes between the hours of 8am to 7pm.
