Taringa is a well-kept secret. It's the western suburb with the least amount of buzz because it's situated between Indooroopilly and Toowong, both of which are known for their enormous shopping malls. Taringa features quiet streets, numerous parks, and convenient access to a variety of retail districts.

Taringa is a hidden Gem. It's the less talked about suburb on the west because it's sandwiched between Indooroopilly and Toowong which are both better known because of the large shopping centres. Taringa has peaceful streets, multiple parks, and access to a variety of shopping precincts.

We love living in Taringa. It has a nice suburban feel, but is so close to the City/CBD! Perrin Park is great, we are close to Toowong shops and Indro shopping centre, plus the river/bike track/ferrys/trains/buses etc all walking distance. it is safe and family friendly I recommend the area to all, we wouldnt change a thing!

A lot of agent reviews on here, talk about not being impartial. Taringa is like every suburb in Brisbane, pretty run down, dirty footpaths, houses in need of major renovation, creepy people around. No nice views. Its nothing to rave about but it isn't horrid either.

Taringa sits in the middle of the St Lucia, Toowong and Indooroopilly triangle. It gets access to all the best parts of those suburbs including businesses, restaurants, parks, shops, schools and the university. It's a great place to bring up a family if you can afford to get into the market with plenty of brilliant places to walk on a Sunday and grab a coffee.

Close to the CBD , Excellent schools , University , golf course and shopping malls. Has a few parks and is close to all amenities.

10 minutes to City, Cafes, Excellent School/Universities for the kids. Golf courses in Indooroopilly and St Lucia and lots of parkland for the weekend walks. Demographic mix of working professionals, families and retirees. Hidden cafes around every corner.

Taringa sits roughly 6km from the city with bus and train lines providing easy access. Taringa has great parks and has great views of the city at some points. Fantastic schools and medical options with easy access to Indooroopilly and Toowong shopping.

Close to the city, with shops and cafes nearby but still quiet. Great schools and the university just one suburb over, it's a fantastic place to raise a family. Plenty of parks and a great sense of community.

Close to pubic transport and great schools. Affluent area with shopping available close by but without the traffic issues. Great cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
