Man shot in the neck in the Tenderloin in SF - Might explain the poor score?
This may explain why the Tenderloin has such a bad reputation and neighborhood ranking. I'm never comfortable walking this neighborhood in sf.

Wow! Definately explains the "bad reputation" and poor ranking. This can happen in any neighborhood, I suppose, but seems to consistently happen in the Tenderloin. Not a place to be strolling around at night.
