Any insights into Crestwood estate?

Hello, does anyone here live or know someone who lives in Crestwood estate? We are looking at properties there, as a broker recommended to us. Not fussed about the houses being sort of dated, as it more than makes up with the size of the block. With Thornlie square in close proximity, which I have seen to attract undesirables, we are concerned if there are known instances of trouble or break-ins in the estate. Any insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
