What suburbs are the best for a young family in Townsville?
We're on the move extremely shortly to Townsville from NZ. Just wondering which suburbs are the best to rent in, and eventually buy? I'm a Primary School Teacher, my husband is a Police Officer, and we have 3 young children. Thanks so much

hi most suburbs are good, all depends what you are looking for and the services you require for your children, best to have a look around when you are here, and speak to colleges You get a lot of house for your dollar in the kelso and upper ross area, there are some dodgy areas, best your judge yourself. horses for courses as they say. cant go wrong with Kirwan, cranbrook, mt louisa and a host of other suburbs. Currajong, Pimlico are great little pockets of older homes close to city.
