North Shore suburb advice!
Turramurra, NSW 2074 is located within the Ku-ring-gai local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
I'm an expat living in Strathfield area for 3 years and looking for next apartment/home. I'm keen to get some recommendations that ticks our list as we don't have much insight outside our neighbourhood (We don't get around much!). For background we are a couple in early 30s without kids.
Kind of vibe we are looking for is something like Castle Hill/Rouse Hill - seems like middle to upper-middle class residential suburb, it is ethnically diverse, has good shopping infrastructure, reasonable rent prices, and decent transport to CBD. It is on our list but we are keen to try North Shore area. Been to Turramurra lately and looked like it ticked the boxes too! Can anyone confirm?
Our list goes:
1. I commute to Wynard so must have train/metro - which I noticed this takes many off the list. Distance-wise I'm not too bothered and willing to travel up to an hour. My partner drives to Ryde so traffic should be manageable.
2. Max rent price 750/wk for 2bed
3. Be ethnically diverse. That said, Strathfield is "too diverse" for my taste for someone who doesn't belong to majority of the ethnicity group without being controversial.
4. Short driving access to amenities eg. Westfield would be nice.
