Umina beach safe area

Yes. Umina Beach is a very safe area, particularly that street. I've never felt unsafe in the suburb. Woy Woy feels like it's a proper distance away as you'd always go by car (unless you want a 20-minute walk). It never really factors into my thinking. I don't really find Woy Woy unsafe either though, but I wouldn't want my sister hanging around alone, late at night... I wouldn't want to find out.

Umina is much better though. Far enough away from the train station and right on the beach. That does make a difference.

Community spirit is good. There's a lot of small businesses, restaurants and community groups. Neighbours are very friendly to me but not over-the-top. I find that I can get involved as much or as little as I want and I'm not judged for it.
