What music venues are there in Uptown?

The Green Mill located at 4802 N. Broadway right off Lawrence. This Jazz and poetry venue should be on everyone's bucket list. Open since the prohibition era, Al Capone and his men would frequent this place often. Several movies have been filmed her, but it's the music that's the real draw here. Recently I saw hometown favorite and Grammy award winner Kurt Elling. Not only did he put on a great show, but he walked around the crowd and took pictures and greeted his fans. This place is intimate and very down to earth.
