We regret raising our family in this dump.

We experienced Macksville to be a scary unsafe place. We left due to the unvettted crime. Rife with meth and other deadly drugs.

It has high unemployment and low income levels. Little to no work opportunities for school leavers. Little to no work opportunities for parents. No public transport to facilitate work in the closest cities.

Macksville has a predominately old white community of territorial people who are offensive and unwelcoming.

There are very limited poorly managed medical facilities. Medical specialists are hour/s drive away.

Pathetic overpriced CBD shopping area. Always many empty shops. Difficult insufficient parking. Expensive grocery and essentials shopping. Most supplies have to be sourced outside of the town at the larger cities about 45 minutes drive away. Expensive delivery for supplies.

No large food chain stores or department stores. Limited overpriced dining.

Below par ranking schools.

Lacking family entertainment facilities.

A corrupt difficult to deal with council that thwarts progress and developments.

Overall a sad, dirty and lacking old own.

There are much better safer places to live.
