Noble Park

"Great suburb for an affordable price"

We bought a house here a year ago closer to Princess Highway north of the railway.

Very happy - so many shopping centres and supermarkets, close to public transports (trains and buses), many schools, close to Monash Uni, friendly neighbours, lots of places for take away, close to the beach, many parks, aquatic centre, new skate park, strip of shops near the station, fireworks throughout the year, Dandenong, Springvale and Clayton not too far away for multi-cultural meals, libraries and community centres and government facilities (e.g. Centrelink, Immigration Office, Tax Office) close by, a few hospitals to choose from, Monash Freeway and Eastlink, etc I think it's great for young familes.

I do wish they had trendier cafes and restaurants nearby but we can easily go to Glen Waverley. Sandowns Race Course can be noisy at times, but this usually happens only a few times a month and once we close the windows and doors, it's not that noisy. I would avoid walking around the streets at night and I would tend to stay away from the station unless it's day time.

We wish we bought a house on a full-block rather than a unit, other than that, we are very happy. Very affordable for a suburb with all the above features.

Great for

  • Plenty of markets within short distance.
  • Surrounded by larger city services of Springvale,Dandenong & Keysborough.
  • Train Service, frequent as 2 lines go through.
  • Great facilities, aquatic centre, parks, sports ovals
  • Authentic take away food. indian, chinese etc

Not great for

  • No central nightlife/pub other than an RSL.
  • Still a low income area, but many signs of change.

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Students
