Parklea

"Parklea - The Invisible Suburb."

To many people the word Parklea is associated with the Parklea Markets which is in Glenwood by the way. Many others assume that the area of Parklea is in Stanhope Gardens or Quakers Hill. So it is quite difficult to inform the confused people including my friends.

The suburb of Parklea is next to Stanhope Gardens, Quakers Hill and Acacia Gardens. Parklea has a Reserve/Playground as well as two Child Care Centres as far as I know. In addition to that a Shopping Centre, Leisure Centre and Library which are in Stanhope Gardens is nearby. A couple of Playgrounds in Quakers Hill are also easily accessible. Many people send their children to a Primary School in Acacia Gardens. Bus services to Blacktown Station and even Sydney are regular. Quakers Hill Railway Station is roughly four kilometres away.

Overall Parklea is a great place to live minus the Railway Station.

  • Relatively new area.
  • Quiet
  • Connected with bus service.

Not great for

  • Not close to railway station.
  • Sentry drive is busy during peak hours.
  • Does not have its own public school.
