Kensington has a good community spirit. There are are good and bad aspects, like all suburbs, but some of the less desirable aspects add character. The high street has everything you need and proximity to public transport and bike tracks is great. We have a young child and we are not concerned about raising him in this area. We understand the local primary schools have a good reputation.
We have had our house burgled once but our level of security wasn't too good.
