Noble Park

"A rough neighbourhood"

I lived in Noble Park for many years, and went to school there. It's a pretty rough neighborhood, I'd walk to and from school each day and I would often find myself frightened. We invested in a security system and always kept our doors and windows locked. We even acquired a dog for extra security. At night there would be cars drag racing up and down our street and many people causing a ruckus would create a lot of noise, particularly annoying when you've got to be up early in the morning.
The traffic between school pickup times and mass on Buckley St was a nightmare, so I'd recommend buying a property away from this area.
The shops that are available are pretty average, the only ones I would recommend are the bakeries. The Noble Park Coles is a notorious hot spot for shop lifters.
Although the availability of the public transport was good, I never felt safe at the strain station. Any one from Noble Park would know that it's not a place you'd go after dark.
The people we lived next door to were very friendly, and overall the people on our street were nice.
